Winter Trees. I usually paint landscape and architecture. This very simple piece was done as a study of warm and cool colours and positive and negative space all to achieve depth.

Autumn Country was a study on creating atmosphere by way of using technique. Although the colour is wram and vibrant in the landscape, the sky creates the overall feel and greyness of the piece.

Lake in the Kootenays. Have you ever gone fishing in a lake in the Kootenays? Well if you do you will want to stay out until the sun starts setting. This is what you will see. Beautiful.

Wisconsin Home was done on a trip to Wisconsin. Amazed by the old homes with neat, tidy yet well established landscaping this painting was completed upon returning home. Now I can say I am a house painter.
